10 Easy Summer Perler Bead Patterns 1

When it’s too hot to go outside, celebrate all that is summer by making these 10 easy summer Perler Bead patterns.

Summer is in full swing and although we love being able to play and work outside there are just some days it is too darn hot.  

We’ve had a couple of weeks where the temperatures have been in the 90’s, and I’m really not one to sit outside and melt.  So, I got my fuse beads out and made these super easy summer Perler Bead patterns.

These patterns celebrate all that we love about summer; the beach, icy treats, fresh fruit, and summer celebrations. Creating these Perler Bead designs are a perfect way for the kids to spend those hot or rainy days celebrating all that summer has to offer.

• Ironing paper

Unless otherwise noted, all of these patterns will fit on a small square Perler Bead pegboard.  So, yes, they a really are easy.

Perler Bead Watermelon

One of my favorite fruits of summer time is watermelon.  It’s a staple of every summer picnic or barbecue. So, I just had to include a simple Perler Bead watermelon in this post.  As you can see from the image, it does take a small round pegboard to create.

Perler Bead Ice Cream Cone

I don’t know about you, but we devour ice cream in the summer.  There’s just nothing better to help cool you off on a hot summer day.  These Perler Bead ice cream cones are simple to make on a small star pegboard.  As you can see, you can actually fit 3 on one board. Plus, you can customize the colors to make everyone’s favorite flavor.  

Sunglasses Emoji Perler Bead pattern

If your kids are anything like mine, they love emojis.  Not sure what it is about those simple smiley faces that makes kids crazy, but they really do love them.  Here’s a simple Perler Bead emoji wearing sunglasses, it’s perfect for summer time.

If your kids love emoji as much as mine, you may also want to consider making these Perler Bead emoji flower pots.   They are pretty easy to make, and they are the perfect summer time craft.

Perler Bead Palm Tree

Palm trees and beaches go hand in hand, so I decided to add this Perler Bead palm tree to this collection of Summer Perler Bead patterns.   You will need two shades of green to make the palm fronds look correct. Of course, fuse beads are all about creativity, so your kids could always make a pink or purple leaved palm tree.  

Fish Perler Bead pattern

Spending lazy days at the lake fishing was always a favorite summer time activity for us.   Of course, we never caught such vibrantly colored fish. You could easily adapt this Perler Bead fish to many colors.  I changed mine 3 times before I settled on yellow and blue; the colors reminded me of Flounder from The Little Mermaid.

Beach bucket and shovel from Perler Beads

Playing in the sand is a favorite pastime at the beach.   You may not be able to use this Perler Bead beach bucket and shovel while playing, but you can remember all the fun times digging in the sand.  The greatest part of this pattern is that you can put them both on one small square pegboard.

Pro Tip:  when making this small Perler Bead pattern, you will need to severely over melt the handle of the bucket to get the beads to fuse together.  

Perler Bead Sailboat

You may not have ever been on a sailboat (I haven’t), but sailing is definitely a pastime of summer.  I love this cute little Perler Bead sailboat pattern because it’s easy to customize in any colors that you want.  Plus, it’s the perfect size for magnets. Burger Perler Bead pattern

We grill out a lot over the summer.   Hot dogs and hamburgers are one of my families staples in the summer.  So although a Perler Bead burger might be fitting any time of the year, for me it screams summer time.  

Perler Bead Popsicle

All summer long we have popsicles in our freezer.  It’s the go to snack when the kids have friends over.   So, I made this cute little Perler Bead popsicle. You can see that I made more of a dreamsicle, only because that’s what Wonder Boy requested, but you can change the coloring of this Perler Bead pattern so easily.   

Fourth of July Star from Perler Beads

Independence Day is always highly anticipated by my family.  We love the time spent with family and, of course, heading out to see the fireworks.  Everyone always tries to wear something red, white or blue to show off our American pride.  

So, for my last easy summer Perler Bead pattern, I wanted to share a link to 6 other Fourth of July patterns.  We made this Perler Bead wind spinner a while back, but each of the patriotic star patterns we used are perfect for summer time.  

What I love about these Fourth of July stars is they are simple to make, and pretty versatile.  You can see from the link above that we turned them into a wind spinner, but they would also make great magnets that you could use to decorate your fridge for the holiday.
