Star Wars Rey Funko Pop

If you didn’t know I am a HUGE fan of Star Wars.   Seriously folks, I love Star Wars.  In fact, most of my Funko Pops are Star Wars.   This Rey Funko Pop is one of the many Star Wars Funko I have in my collection.

I was so excited when “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” came out.   I literally anticipated it for months.   Yes, I’m that crazy girl who leeched onto every piece of media garbage that was out there hoping for some real insight as to what was coming in the movie.

The Rey Funko Pop is just as tenacious as the character in the movie.

I was even more excited when I found out that of the lead characters was going to be a women.   I was hopeful that she would be a strong female character like Princess Leia.   A a mother, my wish was that she would be the type of character that girls could look up too as a role model.  Oh boy, I’ll tell you.  Rey didn’t disappoint.

She was a all I hoped and more.   Rey was independent, resourceful, determined, tenacious, and tough.   She was someone who didn’t need saving.   Yep, a true role model.

When she was running through Jakku with Finn, I just loved how annoyed she got with him and his constant need to lead her through the town.

I know how to run without someone holding my hand.

I love this quote from Rey in the movie. She really doesn’t need saving.

Needless to say I had to have her for my Funko Pop collection.   Thankfully, my kids know me well.   I got the Rey Funko Pop as a Christmas present.

Funko did a great job with the Rey Funko Pop.  The details are amazing.

The detailing on the Rey Funko Pop is awesome!

Her staff, although a bit bent, has three colors and is quite detailed.

Her costume looks exactly like it did in the movies when we first saw her on Jakku.  She even has a little pouch on the back.

Rey’s hair is pulled back in 3 buns with wisps of is coming out on the sides.

She even has long girly eyelashes.

Rey and Finn Funko Pop

I love the relationship that builds between Rey and Finn in Star Wars: The Force Awakens

For all you Star Wars fans, I’ve also taken some photos of the Chewbacca Funko Pop from The Force Awakens and of my Jawa Funko Pop.  I’m sure in the future I’ll get the chance to capture more of my Star Wars Funko Pop collection in the wild.

Tell me your favorite Star Wars Funko Pop.   Do you have the Rey Funko Pop?  I’d love to hear from you in the comments.
