Small Perler Bead Flower

This first Perler Bead pattern for spring is also the easiest Perler Bead pattern EVER!!  All you need is a small hexagon pegboard and 7 Perler Beads. That’s right, only 7 beads for the cutest little flower.  If you look at the image below you can see approximately how many small Perler Bead flowers you can get on one pegboard.  It’s a lot.

I thought I’d try out using the striped Perler Beads when I made them this time, and I love the effect it gives them.  You can get the striped Perler Beads on Amazon in a tray for a really reasonable price if you want to give this look a try.

Now you may be wondering what on earth you can do with such a small Perler Bead project.  Well we used them when making these Perler Bead Thank You cards. You could also glue them to gift tags as embellishments.   Actually, you could glue them on anything to give them a spring time feel.

Perler Bead Bird

One of my favorite tell tale signs of spring is hearing the birds chirping in the morning.  So, I just had to make a little Perler Bead blue bird. He is really easy to make too, and you could make him any color.  This Perler Bead blue bird pattern is even small enough to make into a keychain.

Perler Bead tulip

Since I always get excited to see flowers blooming in the spring, you’ll find several different patterns in this post.   Below, I’ve given you a simple Perler Bead tulip to create.

It’s really easy, and only takes two colors.  Be careful when you make it, the stem of the flower is only one bead wide, so it’s not the sturdiest of patterns.  It will be fine if you iron it on both sides, but I wanted to give you fair warning.

Perler Bead squirrel

The kids and I just love watching the squirrels frolicking in the back yard in the springtime.  In fact I can see one running across my back yard as I write this. So I wanted to make sure I included a squirrel in my Spring Perler Bead patterns.  This pattern is a great size to turn into a magnet. Perler Bead Bumble Bees

OMG, how cute are these little bumble bees?  I honestly wanted to make a dozen of them. Like all the spring Perler Bead patterns in this post, they are easy to make.  Plus you only need 3 colors, yellow, black and white.

Perler Bead butterfly pattern

We’ve made a lot of different butterflies this spring.  You can check out some of them on my Springtime Perler Beads post.  The patterns on that post all used the butterfly template but here I’ve used a small square pegboard.

This fun Perler Bead butterfly pattern is easy to make.  You might also notice that I use the striped Perler Beads again when crafting it.  You, of course, can make you butterfly in any color combination that you wish, and it will still turn out quite lovely.

Perler Bead ladybug

I have to admit that I’m not the biggest fan of bugs.  Not a fan at all! BUT in Perler Bead form they can be pretty stinking cute.  Check out the Perler Bead ladybug. Yep, it’s pretty cute. Plus, even though I hate any little creepy crawly bugs, they do remind me that spring is here.  So, I guess it’s the perfect addition to my Spring Perler Beads post.

Perler Bead sunglasses

Once the sun starts shining, it’s time to get out your shades.   So I made this easy Perler Bead sunglasses pattern. I chose pink, because I love the Perler Bead pink, but it can really be made in any color.  If you had some clear beads, you could even turn it into regular glasses, but they don’t seem very spring like. Lol.

Perler Bead flower

The flower below is the last flower Perler Bead pattern I’m going to share with you today.  It’s larger than all the other flowers, but it still fits on a small pegboard. I actually created it from a shamrock pattern that I did for St. Patrick’s Day.

I thought the yellow and white almost made it look like a daffodil.  They are my favorite spring flower. I love when the daffodils are blooming.

Perler Bead dragonfly

For the last pattern I decided to share a dragonfly with you.  I honestly think of summer when I think of dragonflies, so that’s why I made him last.  He’s done in the pastel colors of spring, so he’s foreshadowing of the summer to come.
