Easy fall and Thanksgiving Perler Beads

Have fun making these simple fall and Thanksgiving Perler Bead patterns.

It’s fall ya’ll!!  Pumpkin Spice, cooler temperatures, harvests, leaves falling…oh, the world is a changing. Although I’m not a fan of the idea of winter being right around the corner, I do love all things fall.

So, of course, I wanted to mark the onset of fall with 10 easy to make fall and Thanksgiving Perler Bead patterns.

I also wanted to add that I didn’t include any Halloween patterns in the post.   Don’t be sad though, I love Halloween so much that I had a whole post dedicated to easy Perler Bead Halloween patterns.

Now grab a sweatshirt, a cup of hot cider and lets celebrate fall.

Supplies needed for fall and Thanksgiving Perler Bead patterns

The supplies listed below are your basic melting bead supplies.  If you are new to the world of beading you may want to check out my Perler Bead tutorial before you begin to get all the insights on how to use Perler Beads.

  • Perler Beads
  • Round small pegboard
  • Hexagon small pegboard

Fall Perler Bead Leaf

In the fall, nature sure puts on a show.   Before the leaves drop from the trees, I love seeing all the amazing colors as they turn shades of red, yellow, gold and orange.  It’s a sight to behold. That’s why I had to make this Perler Bead Leaf in all it’s autumn glory.

As you can see from the image below, I chose to make it in shade of gold and yell, but I originally found the shape on the internet done in reds.  Whatever colors you decide to make your fall Perler Bead leaf, I’m sure it will be stunning.

Perler Bead Acorn

Along with falling leaves falling acorns are also abundant in the fall.  We’ve always got a slew of busy squirrels finding acorns in the hard and hiding them for the long cold winter months.

Perler Bead Acorns

What I love about this Acorn Perler Bead Pattern is that you can make 3 of them on one small hexagon pegboard.  It’s like a 3 for 1 for those of us who tend to put off ironing their Perler Bead creations.

If you’re looking for a squirrel pattern to go along with these acorns, you’ll find one in my Spring Perler Bead Pattern post.

Perler Bead Football

Although I’m not a huge fan of football, the start of the football season always means the beginning of fall for me.

Perler Bead Football

This cute little Perler Bead football is easily made on a small hexagon pegboard.  If the kids are looking for a gift for the football player in your life, you could easily add a keychain to the finished project.

Perler Bead Apple

Another sure tail sign of fall is the simple, yet delicious apple.   Here in the Midwest we celebrate the apple harvest with much fanfare.  There’s even a huge festival in a neighboring town that hosts an Apple and Pork festival each year where every tasty treat you can make from an apple is sold.

So, I couldn’t let this celebration of autumn pass without making an easy apple from Perler Beads.   You can see from the pattern below that it fits on a small pegboard, and is small enough to make into a magnet to decorate your fridge.  Plus, it’s an apple. An apple magnet would make a great teacher gift.

Perler Bead Apple Cider Mug

Isn’t it great when you can get fresh apple cider in the grocery store?  I love it even more when I warm it up and sip it from a mug on a cool autumn day.

The pattern below is supposed to be a nice hot mug of apple cider, but you can interpret it however you wish.  Perhaps it’s hot cocoa or even coffee. No matter what drink you wish was in there, hot drinks are a sure fire sign of cooler weather.

Perler Bead Sunflower

Although we wait all summer for our sunflowers to bloom.  Their blooms indicate that fall is right around the corner.

This immense yellow flower is a staple of fall flower arrangements.  You can easily make one from Perler Bead using the pattern below. I’d love to make several of them, add magnets and turn my fridge into a small sunflower garden each fall.

Perler Bead Turkey

Thanksgiving and turkeys go hand in hand.  So no Perler Bead celebration of Thanksgiving would be complete without a cute little turkey.

I’ll admit, I wasn’t happy with his eyes in either white or black.  I used white, but you may want to experiment with other colors when you make this fall Perler Bead pattern.

Perler Bead Pumpkin

Of course, I had to include a simple pumpkin in this collection of easy fall Perler Bead patterns. I actually just used one of the shapes of the jack-o-lanterns I made last year in my easy Halloween Perler Bead post.  Once I removed his eyes and mouth he was just a simple harvest pumpkin.

Perler Bead Mushroom

Yes, I did it again, I snuck a little of my geek side into this post.  For my Perler Bead mushroom I used a mushroom from Mario. Mario mushrooms are so fun to make.  You can find a couple more here on my Mario Perler Bead patterns post.

Even though the mushroom is from Mario, the mushroom still says fall to me.  Not sure what it is about the weather in the fall that brings all the mushrooms out to play, but we find them everywhere this time of year.

Perler Bead Pilgrim Hat

I wanted to end this post with one more Thanksgiving Perler Bead pattern.  I hope this Perler Bead pilgrim hat does the trick.

Perler Bead pilgrim hat

This pilgrim hat easy enough for anyone to make, and only uses 3 colors. Like most of the patterns in this list, it’s the perfect size for a magnet.

Well that’s it for my 10 easy fall and Thanksgiving Perler Bead patterns.

I tried a little something new with this post.  I made a video! It’s nothing fancy, but it does include all the patterns fully melted.  I know sometimes it can be easier to decide if you want to make something when you see it melted.  Let me know if you like it in the comments. If it’s helpful to you I can continue to make them.

Oh and before you leave, don’t forget to sign up for my newsletter.  I’ll let you know when I come up with more Perler Bead creations.
